Welcome from Us!
We are the crazy duo behind MRKH Stars, we are so happy you have found your way to us! MRKH Stars is based on two things: a love for advocacy, and a friendship that knows no limits. We both have MRKH and have faced so many challenges during our time, each one made possible to navigate with the support of each other. MRKH friendships are so important, which is why Tk has created a buddy scheme to help you to find your person too.
Our Story
We initially met through social media, what was one Instagram DM quickly tuned into an inseparable friendship! Vics founded MRKH Stars in 2021, a month later and Tk was on board. Tk had so many ideas on how to upgrade MRKH Stars and became our Second Stars, just a few months later and Tk and Vics became Co-Directors which is what we are now!
Our friendship has grown through some of the darkest times, living with MRKH is tough, and being public with that can sometimes make it even tougher. Being on this journey together as Co-Directors is something that makes the dark days have a light at the end. We know from first hand experience how isolating MRKH can be, which is why we are so committed and focused on having a big team full of meaningful friendships.
The two of us are so lucky to have the same medical team which means we are supported from all angles. Our team are so supportive of our friendship and our nurse even "coincidentally" books us in for appointments on the same day so that we can see each other!
Together with Vics' passion for advocacy and Tk's creativity, we bring MRKH Stars to life and we hope to be able to do so for a long time. Our two nurses are the people who helped us become the duo we are today. Without them, our friendship wouldn't be half as strong, and Stars wouldn't be here the way that it is today. This is our space to thank them and to provide you with the safe space that they gave us.

The Power of Friendship
We are no strangers to the tough times that come along with MRKH, this is why sometimes we go a little quiet! When we have appointments or if we need some time away together, we take breaks from Stars and have give ourselves some space to be together. This is why we have a fantastic team around us who can support us when we need it so we can be able to give our best to you!
Sometimes a weekend away to vent, laugh and have a cry together with someone who understands can give us enough power to keep going. We love bringing our two very different skillsets together combined with out shared love and passion for supporting the community, our little corner of the internet is based on our very real and very raw friendship and we love being able to support you the way that we support each other.
