Hi! My name is Rose, and I was diagnosed with MRKH when I was 16. However, at the time, my hometown doctor didn’t tell me I had MRKH- just that my MRI showed I was missing X, Y, and Z reproductive organs and that I was probably the only one in the world.
Eventually, I learned that I did in fact have MRKH and that it actually affects 1 in 5,000 people and that I wasn’t alone, and that there are specialists and options out there. I’ve been asked many times from different individuals who have MRKH from all around the world if I knew of any doctors near them. Because of this, I decided to create a comprehensive list of specialists with the help of the MRKH community. It’s really helpful for individuals with MRKH to see providers who are knowledgeable in both the medical and the psychological impacts of MRKH and can offer their patients accurate and compassionate care.
