Additional Healthcare Professionals and MRKH
MRKH is more than gynaecology, and there are lots of other professionals who can support individuals with MRKH on their journey- it just isn't talked about!
Our Global Support Ambassador, Rose has collaborated with healthcare professionals and compiled community recommendations to create a list of others who can and do support those of us living with MRKH and how they can help, check them out here!
Please note that we are not medical professionals, and this directory is intended to help you find support guidance within the MRKH community.

Mr Saravelos is a fertility specialist based in London, and supports those living with MRKH on their journey to parenthood.
How can he help (in his own words):
“We can help women with MRKH considering egg or embryo freezing navigate this complex field and answer any queries they may have. We are a tertiary referral centre for women with MRKH and treat them on a regular basis.”
Patient testimonial:
"When exploring my fertility options, I knew Mr Saravelos was the consultant for me. From our first meeting, Mr Saravelos gave me hope with a diagnosis that took so much of that away. He explained everything to me, checked in regularly, cheered me on and supported me through the egg freezing process, including making sure he was the one to retrieve my eggs when my dates had to change. The outcome was great, and I now have options ready for me later down the line, and I know that, when I am ready to pursue motherhood one day, I would love to have Mr Saravelos as my doctor again."
Samara is an osteopath based in Kent, England and has expereince covering MRKH, vaginismus and women's health.
How can she help (in her own words):
As a recently graduated osteopath we have covered women’s health and the management of persistent pelvic pain along with musculoskeletal and visceral conditions affecting the pelvis, hips, lower back and surrounding structures.
I have extensively researched MRKH to understand patients experience of musculoskeletal pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, postural adaptations, and discomfort related to dilations, and I recognise the importance of providing care that is sensitive, evidence-informed, and tailored to each individual’s needs. My approach is always patient-centred, working within my scope of practice while collaborating with other healthcare professionals where appropriate to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
Patient testimonial:
"Having Samara as a part of my team has made such a huge difference to my life. She was my biggest cheerleader whilst I navigated my fertility journey, helping my body and nervous system to reset and regulate during a very stressful time, and this helped me so much. In turn, this is also a huge support with using dilators and I was able to progress to where I needed to be with Samara's support. There are so many things from my time working with her that I have carried forward with me, and I would recommend her to anyone with MRKH looking for osteopathic support."
Emma is an experienced specialist nurse, and is based in Cambridgeshire, England.
How can she help (in her own words):
“I’m a pelvic floor specialist nurse and support women with a wide range of pelvic floor concerns through evidence-based assessment, education and rehabilitation.
For people with MRKH, I can provide assessment and rehabilitation of the pelvic floor, support with vaginal dilator therapy, help with pelvic floor relaxation where appropriate, pain with vaginal penetration, bowel and bladder symptoms, and education to help patients better understand their bodies and build confidence throughout their rehabilitation.
While my practice is not dedicated exclusively to MRKH, I have supported a woman with MRKH and understand the importance of providing care that is compassionate, individualised and sensitive to the unique physical and emotional aspects of the condition."
Patient testimonial:
"Emma has been a part of my care team for over a year, and since connecting with her I have never looked back. Her care has been consistent, supportive and always so helpful. It was Emma who took the time to listen to my story, and she identified what was going on; from then she has been a huge support in managing the difficult symptoms, low days and setbacks, as well as celebrating all of the wins with me too! To anyone looking for support with MRKH, vaginismus, or bladder/urinary problems, I 100% recommend Emma and am so grateful for her support."

'Sumaavi Group Coaching was an experience like no other. What made it truly special was that Rima has MRKH herself, so she fully understands and resonates with our experiences. Connecting with other MRKH sisters was equally valuable, giving us a safe space to share, learn and support one another. I also loved our insightful book club discussions, some MRKH-related and others exploring different topics. Rima uses powerful techniques and methods that made a huge positive impact on my emotional wellbeing. I highly recommend it!'
